Our deepest sympathy to Vicky and family. In 2019, while snow birding in Ocala, Fl. we met this wonderful Ohio couple, Vicky and Bill Corbin. We shared camp space, laughs, food and family stories. We became good friends. Somehow, Bill and I won a golf tournament, the prize being a bowl of chili and a "Lousy Golf Trophy." We were immediately banned by the kangaroo court from being partners in the future. I would listen to Bill tell combat stories, he would listen to my fire stories. In the last 2.5 years, We called each other on a regular basis, shared laffs, a couple of tears, and stories of faith. Today, we are going off diet and eating 2 racks of ribs in honor of Bill and Vicky. Rest in Heaven Bill Corbin. Thank you for your friendship, service and protecting our freedoms. - Gayle and Kip Reaves

To the Family of William Corbin. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family for the loss of your love one. I am one of the FNVG from Sandusky who was there at the Sand Hill Cemetery and was to present a three shot honor to Mr. Corbin, but due to the gun freezing up, and it was tested by our president who was present, before we arrive, it was in working order. We all express or deepest sympathy for the failure of us not being able to complete our mission. Our President Patrick Thompson, us sending a letter to the Family expressing this and a possible way for us to still do the right thing. He is sending out a letter to you through the Toft Funeral Home to give to you with something that we would like to do to honor your love one. Please look for this information from Toft"s from the Firelands Military Vehicle Group. I have noway of knowing when they will receive it and when they will get it to you, but please make sure you receive this information. We hope they told you how sorry for this mishaps and how terrible we felt. If you would like to speak with the President, please call Capt. Patrick Thompson at 419-626-6349. You can also leave a message and he will get back in touch with you . My name is Patricia Sexton and I talked to a cousin of Me. Corbin before the service and then as her and her husband was leaving and express our sympathy for the loss and our apologies for the gun freezing up. We hope to hear from you so we can talk about what we would like to offer you and the family Respectfully, Member of the FMVG Patricia Sexton
