Obituary

Linda Carol (Norman) Ricci, 58, of Sandusky, passed away on January 6, 2021 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family, following a lengthy illness.

Linda was a faithful member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Sandusky. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, spoiling her grandbabies, gardening, having dinners with the Buckeye Chicks, and volunteering for causes like the March of Dimes and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Paul; her children, Jessica (Jeff Mohr), Matthew, Michael, and Katelyn (Adam Crawford); granddaughters, Audrey and Melanie; brother, Collie Norman; and sister, Sandy Roth.

Linda was a co-worker and then my manager on the OB Unit at Firelands hospital for a number of years. She was gentle, thoughtful, kind, and caring. When I think back I realize that she taught me, by example, how to be a better me - how to bring out the best in people, giving others the benefit of the doubt, and putting things in a positive light. I was fortunate to have known her. I am sorry this world lost her all too soon. But I am sure, knowing who she was, she has left some beautiful people in her wake, already putting good into the world. Wishing the family smiles and good memories.

Paul and Family, I am sorry for your loss. I remember Linda from the few times when I met her out at your Groton Township homes (on Mason Road and the new house on Skadden Road). I don't know if you remember me, but I worked for the Health Department and later at Cedar Point. I understand what you are going through, as I lost my wife, Connie, six months ago. Once again, I send my condolences. Bob Butler
