Lawrence E. Henry, 84, Sandusky, died Friday, April 16, 2021, in Admiral’s Pointe, Huron.

He was born on November 13, 1936 in Grafton, WVA, to the late Vernon and Hallie (Montgomery) Henry.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Lawrence retired as a Quartermaster on the Ohio Barge Line, and he also worked for many factories around Sandusky.

He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Henry and Kelly Henry, both of Sandusky; son, James Henry, Sandusky; grandchildren, Victoria Grant, Kzell Hunter, Kyle Hunter, all of Sandusky, and Katherine Hunter, Arizona; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Henry, Mount Vernon, OH, Wanda Becraft, Morehead, KY, and Betty Dixon, South Carolina; brother, Charles Henry, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: and sisters, Ramona Angel and Sylvia Henry; brothers, William, Richard, Paul, Glenn, George, Charles, and Kenneth Henry.

There will be no services at his request. Cremation has taken place at the Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting
