Juan Antonio “Tony” Colòn, 83, of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 in Providence Care Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Puerto Rico on March 2, 1938 to the late Antonio and Virginia (Alvarez) Colòn.

Juan worked hard all of his life, mostly at the former New Departure. He loved motorcycles, gardening, collecting coins, anything with eagles, and spending time with his family and friends.

Tony is survived by his children, Antonio, Virginia, Melissa, and Adrian (Paige) Colòn; step-children, Tracey (John) Nolder, Jessica, Amber, and Albert Shumate, Carissa Colòn, and Cassandra Gill; sisters, Maria Del, and Carmen Colòn; brothers, Angel M. and Pedro Colòn; many grandchildren; and former wives, Peggy Colòn, Linda Blake, Valerie Gill Colòn, and Jane Leal; and many other loving relatives.

Friends may call on Tuesday, June 15 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Chaplain David Clarke will officiate, and burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park. Condolences may be shared online by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
