Billy L. Bledsoe, 71, of Oak Harbor, passed away Thursday morning, June 10, 2021 in Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born on October 21, 1949 in Big Stone Gap, VA to the late Vilas and Gladys Bledsoe. He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1967 and attended Tiffin University. He worked in sales for several companies throughout his career.

Billy loved to sing. He was a member of Smooth Groove, along with his buddies, Reggie, Ernie, and Deb. He was a Cleveland Indians and Browns fan and loved to watch the news.

Billy is survived by his wife, Carla, whom he married on March 1, 2013; children and step-children, Saโ€™Quia (Raymond) Morgan-Hill, of Columbus, Eilene (Robert) Lowe, of Sandusky, Hillary Radsick, of Oak Harbor, and Morgan Capone and Nickolas (Courtney) Capone, both of Sandusky; grandchildren, Saโ€™Vaia, Raymond, Joshua, Britney, Jennifer, Landon, and Emerson; brother, Carlos (Kristie) Bledsoe, of Sandusky; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Ted Bledsoe; and sisters, Shelvie Neidler and Lorene Jerome.

Cremation will take place. Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 19 until a Celebration of Life service begins at 11 a.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. A reception in the Event Room at Toft will follow.
